January 12th, 2007

I arrived three days ago on 9th January. Jane picked me up at 12 noon and I was in the gym by 4pm! I wasn't sure what to expect but my body definitely got a shock! Mostly weights and some cardio. At one point I thought I was going to vomit and/or have a heart attack. Was this a sign of things to come?

I have never felt muscle pain like I experienced the next day. I could barely sit down and this was going to get worse before it got any better. Jane assured me this was normal.......She was right.

The next few days consisted of rowing, weights, cycling, more weights, a three hour walk and even more weights. I always thought that weights for solely for toning, but not according to Jane. I also had the dreaded weigh-in. I didnt want to know how much I weighed but would know how much I'd lose each week. I'm already looking forward to next Wednesday!
